It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Marie Gibson of Edmonton, Kentucky, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Marie Gibson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oran Froedge and Lillian Hayes Froedge; her husband Hildred Gibson; her son Dale Gibson; and her siblings, Robert, Junior, James Froedge and Bernice Gooden.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amanda Gibson of Edmonton and Matt Gibson (Karen) of Tompkinsville; her great grandchildren, Mason and Chandler Gibson; her daughter-in-law Pam Gibson of Edmonton; her sister Phyllis England (Don); and her sister-in-law Bernice Froedge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (201 East St, Edmonton, KY 42129). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Missionary Mound Cemetery or Beaumont Cemetery.
