It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Joe Davis of Edmonton, Kentucky, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Medford Davis and Pauline Hurt; his stepfather Benton Hurt; his daughter Miriah Davis; his great grandchild Luka Mujakovic; and his brothers, Bobby, Jerry and Jimmy Hurt.
He is survived by: his children, Estelle Mariea Geis, Dawn Drury, James S. Davis and Jonathan R. A. Davis; his grandchildren, Ariel Jade Mujakovic, Ashley Causeway, Austin Causeway, Shauna Jessie, James Davis, Thomas Drury, James Drury, Jonathan D. Drury, Tawny Davis, Daileigh Grace Wright, Marisa Dipilla and Gabriel Davis; his siblings, Billy Hurt (RuthAnn) and Sue Cumbee; and the mothers of children, Sheri Davis Flanagan and Sheila Curtis. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
