She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Carter and Ruby Bagby Carter; and her brother Charles Carter (Olettia). She is survived by: her husband Edward Caffee, Jr..

Due to the current Covid-19 Crisis mask will be required and the funeral service will be reserved for close family only.

Sue retired from the Metcalfe County High School lunch room and was a member of the Foundation Methodist Church.
