He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Coomer (Roach) and Lillie Mae Sneed Coomer; his siblings, Betty Hoover, Sarah Smith, Jean Thompson, Evelyn Coomer, Dorothy Beck, Alice Huddleston, William Coomer (Fats), Frank Coomer, Arnold Coomer and JC Coomer; and his sister-in-law Betty Coomer.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Chris Brown (Melissa) and Lori Reece (James); his brother Billy Coomer; and his nieces and nephews, Donnie Coomer (Melody), Greg Coomer, Lisa Rutherford (Chris), Judy Richards (Randall), Danny Coomer (Martha), Michael Coomer (Paula), Timmy Thompson (Kelly), Brenda Owsley (Jason), Scotty Smith, Patricia Sessa (Mike), Tony Coomer (Michelle), Vocal Pelly, Hernietta Allen, Larry Huddleston, Tracy Hoover and Bonnie Green.
