Athel Logsdon Cowan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Athel Logsdon Cowan of Edmonton, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Athel Logsdon Cowan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hayes and Evelyn Dennis Hayes; her husband Marvin Logsdon; her sons, Jamie Logsdon and Franklin Tracy Logsdon; and her sister Lucille Sexton.
She is survived by: her children, Marvin Roland Logsdon (Robin), Sarah Houk, Stanley Logsdon (Kay) and Michael Logsdon (Lorrie); and her siblings, Johnnie Hayes and Wilma Waddell. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sego Funeral Home (114 W South St, Munfordville, KY 42765). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
