He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brown Knipp; his children, Brenda Knipp, Sarah "Cookie" Smith (Donnie), Linda Dyer (Johnny), Krystal Knipp and Terry Knipp (Loretta); his grandchildren, Anthony (Tony), Amanda, Kandace, Melissa, Sarah, Matthew, Michelle, Travis, Christopher, William, Kenneth, Demetria and Joe Dale; and his stepgrandchildren, Nicole, Courtney and Whitney. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
