It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert M. Smiley of Edgewood, Kentucky, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia Smiley. He is survived by: his children, Mark Smiley (Paula), Karen Ewing (Mike), Kirk Smiley and Eric Smiley (Jessica); and his sister Sandra Raabe. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 from 11:00 AM until the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (Noon). (Masks and Social Distancing are required.) Inurnment and a Honor Guard service will take place at Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright, KY.
