He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Fred; his wife Alida; his children, Alan Thistleton, Ruth Walton (Ed), Anne Bicker Caarten (Frans) and Adele Gormley (Dave); and his grandchildren, Michael (Alexis), Nicole, Lindsay Walton, Charlie, Emma Bicker Caarten, Alex (Alissa), Sam and Luke Gormley. He was also cherished by friends and particularly, his wife, children and grandchildren.
