He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur G. White and Christine E. Houseman. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his daughters, Lindsey Piper (Kraig) and Sarah Houseman; his siblings-in-law, Margie and Tony Wells; and his granddaughters, Quinn, Kennedy and Mia.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the James Cancer Research Center of Ohio State University, 460 W.10th.
