He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Harry Konys; and his sister Christine Konys. He is survived by: his wife Linda Konys; his children, Zak Konys (Julia) and Jessica Konys; his granddaughters, Vivian Brockman and Ruby Konys; his siblings, Edward Konys, Karen Czerniawski (Lee), David Konys (Christine), Paul Konys (Pam) and Mark Konys (Chris); and his siblings-in-law, Donald Branzel (Jean) and Joy Kenny (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
