It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ferdinand Kappen (Edgewood, Kentucky), who passed away on February 22, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Walburga C. Helmer Kappen; his granddaughter Sophia Kappen; and his parents, Hermann Kappen and Sophia Robers Kappen. He is survived by: his children, Greg Kappen (Amy) and Sandra Kappen; his siblings, Otger Kappen, Norbert Kappen and Annaliese Schulten; and his grandchildren, Nikolaus and Finnian.
