She was predeceased by: her parents, Virland Vealey and Mabel Vealey; and her daughter Sarai Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Essam Behery; her children, Stacie Wood (Roy), Victoria Quinn and Michael Vealey (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Willis Nottingham, Wyatt Nottingham, Abigail Wood, Diahna Wood (Grainger Rogers) and Roy Wood III; her great grandchild Berkley Rogers; and her siblings-in-law, Medhat Behery and Ebtesam Behery. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
