It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Rae King of Eddyville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Eli and Carrie Elizabeth Gibson-Dean; her husband William Ray King, Jr.; her sons, Howard King and Ronald King; and her sisters, Lois Dean Purdy and Thelma Flanigan.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah King of Eddyville; her sister Carrie Kurtz of Fredericksburg, VA; her grandchildren, Carrie Elizabeth Pederson, William Melius Pederson (Tara), Brenden Pederson, Aaron Pederson and Thomas Hamilton; her great grandchildren, Isabella Dudley and Virginia Dudley; and her great great grandchild Daniel Pederson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
