He was predeceased by: his father Robert Earl; and his brothers, Robert Copeland and George Copeland. He is survived by: his sisters, Carolyn Quisenberry (Lucian) of Cadiz, Connie Copeland of Eddyville, Alma Jean Nance of Nashville, Frances Thomas of Paducah and Faye Johnson of Louisville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
