He is survived by: his wife Faye Riley Waters; his sons, Steven Waters (Misty) of Eddyville and Nick Waters (Shane) of Marion; his siblings, Roger Waters (Cindy) of Eddyville, Kenneth Waters (Linda) of Eddyville, Linda Brasell (David) of Eddyville and Kathy Stone of Eddyville; and his granddaughter Tristen Waters of Eddyville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
