He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Jean Thompson Brown; his parents, Wylie Brown and Laura Lester Brown; and his brothers, George and Robert Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Marla Gaye Brown of Kuttawa and Paul Grundy Brown (Traci) of Eddyville; and his brothers, John Y. Brown (Bonnie) of Princeton and Jack W. Brown of Princeton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
