Though Jerry Douglas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his son Benjamin Douglas Phelps of Kuttawa; his parents, Clarron C Phelps and Dessie Marie Phelps of Gilstrap; and his brother Brady Clarron Phelps of Gilstrap. He is survived by: his wife Susan Phelps of Kuttawa; his daughter Hayley Phelps of Murray; his brother-in-law Corky Peek of Eddyville; and his sister Sherry Morris (Dale) of Gilstrap. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunn's Funeral Home (301 W Fairview Ave, Eddyville, KY 42038). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Kuttawa Cemetery.
