He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy C. Thatcher and Mary Blythe Thatcher; his son Roy David Thatcher; and his brother James Thatcher. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Vinson Thatcher of Princeton; his stepchildren, Mary Ann Hudson (Butch) of Nashville, Dawn Henderson (Danny Bridges) of Princeton and Michael Wayne Henderson of Nashville; and his brother Robert Thatcher (Betty) of Princeton. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
