He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Joyce Dycus Guess; his parents, Carl Freeman Guess and Heady Pauline Sowash Guess; his son Bobby Neal Guess, Jr.; his grandson Jonah Liebman; and his siblings, Raymond Guess, Carl Guess and Inell P'Pool.
He is survived by: his daughter Karla Guess (John Rademaker) of Louisville, KY; his daughter-in-law Lori Guess of Kuttawa, KY; his grandchildren, Garrett Guess (Sarah), Jaylyn Rivera (Dominique), Jared Liebman (Mary), Shayna Liebman and Ali Rost; his great grandchildren, Kai Rivera, Maddie Rivera, Andrew Guess and Eliah Jonah-Neal; and his brothers, Paul Guess of Kuttawa, KY and Charles Guess (Shirley) of Kuttawa, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
