He is survived by: his mother Thelma Nash Prater of Sparta, TN; his daughters, Lisa Kaetzel (David) of Crofton and Heathre Joiner (Eric) of Hopkinsville; his brother Mike Prater of Sparta, TN; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lucas, Lila, Brittan, Nathan and Bret.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home (700 Country Club Ln, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Ridgetop Cemetery (14004 N Old Madisonville Rd, Crofton, KY 42217).
