She was predeceased by: her parents, John Will Short and Ella Render Short; her husband Robert Clark, Sr.; her sons, Robert Clark, Jr. and Tyrone Clark; her grandsons, Toray Clark, Curtis Clark and Bryan Bailey II; and her siblings, George, Walter, Melvin, Conrad, Louise, Dorothy and O'Dessa.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Williams, Janice Bryant (Robert), Conatta Hilliard, Marsha Thompson and Pamela Bailey I (Bryan). She is also survived by thirty grandchildren; seventy-seven great-grandchildren and thirty- four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Jessie Reynolds; nephews, nieces, cousins.
