He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Marie Hogan Fulkerson; his children, Brent Smith Fulkerson (Ester) and Montrea Renee Wimsatt (Tommy); his stepson Chris Hogan (Lisa); his grandchildren, Matt Hogan, Jessica Whited, Sydney Fulkerson, Claire Fulkerson and Cheyenne Wimsatt (NIck); and his sister Evelyn Gaither. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
