He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Lyons and Pearl Peters Lyons; his daughter Lin; and his granddaughters, Tiffany and Tracey.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Lyons of Eastview; his sons, Rusty Lyons (Amanda) of Eastview and William Lyons (Jody) of Cecilia; his sister Rose; and his grandsons, James Knapp (Amanda), Kevin Lyons (Ashlea), Brent Lyons, Matthew Lyons (Malena), Levi Lyons and Gerald Lyons. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
