He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Peters and Iva Lawson Peters; and his siblings, Delbert, Edward Peters, Doris Jean Sandfer and Della Roake.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Rose Harper Peters; his children, Gene Peters (Suzie) of Stephensburg, Ronnie Peters (Iva Jo) of Rineyville, Tony Peters (Tracy) of Bedford, IN, Rev. Doug Peters (Carla) of Cecilia and Connie Merritt (Kenneth) of Eastview; and his sister Ruth Ann McGuire of Big Clifty. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is required that every visitor wears a face mask or face cover.
