He was predeceased by: his mother Patsy Griffith; and his children, Cody Pack and Brandi Lynn Pack. He is survived by: his fiancée Sandra McGarey of Eastern, KY; his daughters, Bobbi Lynn Stephens (Joshua) of Morehead, KY and Leeza Francis (Cory) of Salyersville, KY; his grandchildren, Cody Axel, Austin Wayne, Payton Marie, Rikka Daniella and Kelsey Enid; and his brother James Griffith of Martin, KY..
