He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" and Edith Meade Campbell; his stepson Dennie Gillespie; and his siblings, Daniel Campbell, Thelma Hale, Rita Smith and Anna Lee Frasure.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Thacker Campbell; his children, Jeffery Campbell of Georgetown, Kentucky, Donna Crumbie and Brenda Hughes of Lexington, Kentucky; his stepchildren, Jason Gibson of Shelbiana, Kentucky, Sherry Belcher of Regina, Jackie Adkins of Shelbiana and Phyllis Gibson of Shelbiana, Kentucky; and his brother James Clinus Campbell of Indiana. He is also survived by Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren.
