She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Thompson and Grace Rowe Thompson; her husband Orville Garland; her former husband Anthony Monroe Buck; her son William Buck; and her sisters, Flora Young and Diane Baker.
She is survived by: her son Anthony Buck of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Jennifer Rogers (Aaron), Travis Fugate and Brandon Buck; her great grandchildren, Ava Rogers, Ellie Mae Fugate and Ashley Fugate; and her niece Lee Reynolds (Dennis).
