He was predeceased by: his wife Angie Campbell (Ornduff); his son Robert Wendell Campbell; and his parents, Elmer Campbell, Jr. and Ethel Campbell (Moore). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Lynn Meadors (Johnathon) of Corbin and James Shannon Cheek (Barbara) of East Bernstadt, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Hayden McKeehan, Raylan Cheek, Leann Lederman and Caleb Whittemore.
