Vernon, Cyndy Ayers of Evart and Rebecca Wichtendahl of Bossier City, Louisiana; his mother Marilyn Ayers (Gabbard) of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; his sibling Joey Ayers of Sumpter; his parents-in-law, Ray and Geneva Hill (Mackey); his grandchildren, Abigale, Adrianna, Kaylee, Noah, Elijah, Madison, Killian and Hudson; his father Thomas Aiken Ayers; and his brothers, Robert Allen Ayers and John Wesley Ayers.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
