She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Pratt Whit Smith and Janie Young Smith; and her siblings, John Spencer Smith, Katie Smith Brennon, Clifton Pratt Smith, Edith Smith Wall Adams, Ola Belle Smith Durham and Mable Smith Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Karol Kaye Durham Welch and Linda Faye Durham Lam (Richard); her grandchildren, Nathan Travis Welch (Rebecca Ann Beckner), Joshua Lee Lam (Aphrodite) and Katie Scarlett Lam Sizemore (Brett); and her great grandchildren, Siena Augusta Welch, Noah Alexander Lam, Eli Richard Lam and Ezekiel Joshua Sizemore. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reid-Walters Funeral Home (202 E Farren Ave, Earlington, KY 42410). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery.
