She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Bevels and Mary Bevels; her son Mark Alan Hibbs; and her siblings, Robert Bevels and Honey Holt.

She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Adams (Donald) of Princeton, KY and Greg Hibbs (Belinda) of Madisonville, KY; and her sister Cecilia Wilkerson of Madisonville, KY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
