He was predeceased by: his mother Emma Lee Willis Thompson; his siblings, Mary Alice Pettus, Martha Jean Thompson, Myrtle Mae Adams and Virgil Lee Thompson; and his aunts, Melva Willis Hicks and Flossie Willis Mayes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sallie Wright (Billy) of Madisonville, Robert Thompson of Earlington and Albert Thompson of Hopkinsville, KY; and his friends, Carol Gilmore, Charles Eaves, Austin Wooldrige, William Jonigan and Tyrone Hopson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
