He is survived by: his wife Lois Peek Rushing; his children, Mike Whitney (Brandy), Sharon (LaRue), Trinna Rushing Buntin of Grand Rivers, KY and Tabitha Taylor (Bo); his siblings, Cynthia Rushing of Chicago, IL, Chuck Rushing of Mississippi, Christopher Rushing and Ronald Rushing; his grandchildren, Jared LaRue (Casey), Zachary LaRue, Sawyer LaRue (Stephanie), Tate LaRue, Coby LaRue, Abby Whitney, Avery, Riley Buntin, Mary, Christa and Preston Sisco; and his great grandchild Macy LaRue. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
