She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethard Popplewell and Eva Miller Popplewell; and her siblings, Gradith Popplewell, Garnett Popplewell, Darlene Shell, Redith Stinson and Nelphia Wilson.
She is survived by: her husband Elvin York; her children, Stephen Popplewell of Dunnville, David York (Angie) of Jamestown, Lonnie Roy of Russell Springs and Jennifer Seals (Corey) of Yukon, Oklahoma; her siblings, Hearl Popplewell, Aubrey Popplewell, Gervin Popplewell, Aldene Kiefer and Andell Hanlon; and her grandchildren, Aylee Ellis, Noah Ellis, Riley Ellis, Kendall Roy and Jasmine Roy.
