She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Marshall and Opal Knight Furkin; and her sister Paula Kolody. She is survived by: her significant other Ricky Lawson of Dunnville; her daughters, Robin Absher of Louisville and Tasha Royston of Dunnville; her grandsons, Christopher, Brian and Adam; her great grandchild Aubrii; her siblings, Wendy Bernard (Steve) of Liberty and Billy Furkin; and her parents-in-law, Henry and Louise Lawson of Dunnville.
