He was predeceased by: his father Charles William Ryan; his mother-in-law Ethel Brooks; his brother-in-law Doug Brooks; his stepfather Jim Lee; and his son-in-law Trent Christie.
He is survived by: his wife Inett Brooks Ryan; his daughter Jenette Necole Ryan of Dunmor; his son-in-law Nick Smalley of Dayton, Ohio; his son Charles Keith Ryan II (Bethany) of Powderly; his grandchildren, Logan Christie, Jonathan Christie, Westen Smalley and Atlas Ryan; his sister Theresa Buchanan (Michael) of Whitehouse, TN; his mother Retha Mae Lee of Greenbrier, TN; his brother Bill Ryan of Greenbrier, TN; his father-in-law Vinyard Brooks of Powderly; his nieces, Lacey and Amber; and his nephew Levon.
