She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Pence and Rosella Pence; her sons, Butch Covey, Terry Covey, Melvin Covey and Doug Covey; her sister Shirley Lachance; and her granddaughter Carrie Covey.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Edward Covey; her daughters, Rita Fay Gabbard (John) of Independence and Patricia Ann Mann (Bill) of Dry Ridge; and her brother Leland Earl Pence of Williamstown. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
