He is survived by: his wife Laura Martin Strevels of Dry Ridge, KY; his sons, James Christopher Strevels (Lisa) of Lancaster, KY, William David Strevels of Stanford, KY and Eric Michael Strevels (Lili) of Dry Ridge, KY.; his grandchildren, Tucker, Casey, Abagail, Zayne, Brennan, Erin and Eden; his sisters, Teresa Hayward (Jim) and Judy Drouin; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Martin and Brad Martin (Cara). He is also survived by many cousins who James considered siblings, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Revive Church (2020 Taft Hwy, Dry Ridge, KY 41035). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at the Hill Crest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Revive Building Fund, 2020 Taft Hwy, Dry Ridge, KY 41035.
