He was predeceased by: his father George Walter Gibson; and his stepfather James R. Townes. He is survived by: his mother Alberta Townes of Florence; his siblings, John Gibson (Raul Rodriguez) of New York, NY and Audrey Whitley (David) of Burlington; and his pet Teddy.
