He was predeceased by: his parents, Quentin Scroggins and Nellie Roland Scroggins; his wife Darlene Starnes; his grandson Hayden Webster; and his siblings, Al Wayne Scroggins and Irene Scroggins.
He is survived by: his children, John Howard Scroggins of Owenton, Steven Douglas Scroggins of Dry Ridge and Kim Starnes Curtis of Williamstown; his sister Wanda Scroggins; his grandchildren, Maranda Patterson, Denita Webster, Flem Patterson, Jesse Scroggins and John Shannon Scroggins; and his great grandchildren, Bryant Clark, Payton Clark, Ian Clark, Chloe Webster, Bentley Webster, Hunter Webster, Conner Webster, Kyler Webster (Josh), Leo Scroggins, Carrisa Cupp, Malori Patterson and Flem Patterson III.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stanley Funeral Homes (500 N Main St, Williamstown, KY 41097). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
