He was predeceased by: his parents, Harve Shannon and Molly Cartmell Shannon; his significant other Alberta Shelton Shannon; and his siblings, Jeff, Lee, Bill, Joe, Harry, Denver Shannon, Susie Fraley, Myrtle Bellamy, Sally Hall and Ermie Cox.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Joann Stumbo and Peggy Jean Pack; his sons-in-law, Gregory Stumbo and Johnny Pack; his grandchildren, Belinda Cook (Earl), Genna Johnson (Greg), Steven Stumbo, Teddi Leigh Cyrus (Bobby) and JoJo Hall (Mikey); his great grandchildren, Bridget Triplett Hall (Justin), Billie Johnson (Austin), Holly Shannon (Thomas Hall), Brandi Luttrell (Derrick), Chelsea Hall (Kenton), Blayze Stumbo (Sophia), Hayden Hall (Chloe), Brook Stumbo (Gavin Slone), Shelton "Squeak" Hall, Trey Frasure, Hunter Hall (Maddy Wade) and Alyah Stumbo; and his great great grandchildren, Branson, Justice, Jagger, Waylen, Cora, Kruze, Brock, Atlee, Cason and Mayer.
