He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Shepherd Slone; his parents, James Slone and Margaret Gibson Slone; and his brother Jerry "Buck" Hall. He is survived by: his daughters, Polly Marrs (Frank) of Lexington, KY, Susan Wright (Charlie) of Prestonsburg, KY, Brenda Mullins of Drift, KY and Carol Allen (T. O.) of Sevierville, TN; and his sister Lou Jean Dunn of Charlotte, MI. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
