He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wright and Alice Carroll Wright; his wife Helen Artrip Wright; his sons, Edward Wright Jr. III and Kenneth Ray Wright; and his siblings, James Wright, Homer Wright, Irene Simpson and Geraldine Cook.
He is survived by: his children, James Arnold Wright of Drift, Earl Wright (Kimberly) of Drift, Kentucky, Karen Spurlock (Danny) of Martin and Alice Wright of Drift, Kentucky; and his siblings, Earl W. Wright of Frankfort, Kentucky, Betty Jo Smith of Ohio and Ada Gayheart of Floyd County, Kentucky. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
