He was predeceased by: his parents, James Miles and Mazel Miles (Blackwell); and his siblings, James Earl Miles and Alice Faye Coursey. He is survived by: his children, Nevin Lee Miles (Wendy) of Central City, Melissa Walker (Larry) of Drakesboro and Amy Miles (Ranjith Philip) of Louisville; his brother Glendal Miles (Rose); his pet Gary Miles of Bowling Green; his sisters, Judy Cartwright of Bowling Green and Sue Bell Bond (Earl) of Penrod; and his grandchildren, Dallas, Daxis, Faith, Alivia and Samantha.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel (1600 Nashville St, Russellville, KY 42276).
