He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester McIntyre and Mary Ezell McIntyre; and his siblings, Hazel Benson, Virginia Hurt, Jerry McIntyre, Charles McIntyre, Bill McIntyre and Eddie McIntyre.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bentley McIntyre of Drakesboro; his children, Michael Eugene McIntyre of Centertown, Angela McIntyre of Centertown and Sondra Slaton (Scott) of Owensboro; his stepsons, Mark Mason (Heather) of Drakesboro and Dr. Nick Mason of Rogersville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Bliss Shepherd (Jeremiah), Elijah McIntyre, Jeremiah Allen, Jacob Allen, Ashley Decker (Jarrod), Nicholas Felix, Stephanie Ray (Chad), Alan Slaton (Jessica), Polly Green, Clayton Carden and Amanda Mason; and his siblings, Conrad McIntyre of Owensboro, Danny McIntyre (Pat) of Harleyville, Bobby McIntyre (Sherry) of Owensboro and Athelene Farris (Hillard) of Echols. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
