She was predeceased by: her husband Shelby Whitmer; her parents, Floyd Pogue and Thelma Pogue; her granddaughter Amanda Whitmer; her great grandchild Brock Revo; and her daughter-in-law Sharon Whitmer.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Wayne Whitmer of Browder, Ricky Lee Whitmer (Angie) of Central City and Doris Ann Knight (Jerry) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Scott Whitmer (Andrea), Craig Hardison (Jaime), Phillip Whitmer and Jennifer Scharfenberger (Chris); and her siblings, Bobby Curtis Pogue and Sherrill Harbison. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
