Larry Gene Majors Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Gene Majors of Drakesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Larry Gene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Larry Gene farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Majors and Virginia Majors. He is survived by: his wife Lois Marie Rhodes Majors; his children, Rhonda Harris (Richard) and Robert Majors; his granddaughter Ursula Harris; and his brother Freddie Majors. He is also survived by several adopted children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tucker Funeral Home (113 N 3rd St, Central City, KY 42330). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Cemetery Memorial Gardens (3570 US-62, Powderly, KY 42367).
