He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion "Cutie" McFarland and Elsie Mae McFarland; his siblings, Mitchell, Jewel, Marion "Budgie", Jerry, Doug, Emma Soule and Sandra Stamper; and his son-in-law Louie Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Underwood McFarland; his children, Christina Armstrong, Freddy McFarland (Shanon), Daniel McFarland (Samantha) and Brendan McFarland (Ashley); his grandchildren, Jessica Tucker (Josh), Courtney Kelly, Cyler McFarland, Kenly McFarland, Royce McFarland and Novalynn McFarland; his great grandchildren, Madyson Tucker, Olivia Tucker and Harper Tucker; and his sisters, Vonnelda Studer (Joe) and Brenda Rice (Mike).
