She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore R. Ball of Princeton, WVA and Lucille Tucker (Ball); her stepfather Robert Carson Tucker (Bob) of Jenkins, KY.; and her grandparents, Dwight Avery Bellomy and Winnie Plummer Bellomy of Jenkins, KY..
She is survived by: her son Richard Martin Day Jr.; her brothers, Richard Douglas Tucker (Donna), Gary Michael Tucker (Catherine) and Robert Carson Tucker, Jr. (Bob); and her former husband Richard Martin Day of Naples, FL.. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
She was blessed to make a living and help people by working in administrative positions at HNTB Engineering, Good Samaritan Foundation, High Street YMCA and for Woodrow Dawahare, Caywood Ledford and John Gaines of Gainesway Farm.
