She was predeceased by: her parents, John Addington and Bondie Addington; her former husband Donald Benjamin Burke; her son Donald B. Burke Jr.; and her siblings, Billy Addington, Kenneth Addington, Donald Addington, Orville Addington, Regean Johnson and Kathleen Addington.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Elkins; her sons, Kenneth Ray Burke (Karen) of Belleville, MI, Rodney Keith Burke of Brushy Fork, James Douglas Burke of Ypsilanti, MI, Keith Elkins (Yvonne) of Navarre, OH, Bryan Elkins (Debbie) of Bastrop, TX and Billy Elkins Jr. (Elena) of Jackson Township, OH; and her sister Karen Damron (Jerry) of Dorton. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Pilgrims Rest Old Regular Baptist Church (1545 Beefhide Crk Rd, Jenkins, KY 41537). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
